Is Runner Out?
I was wondering what would happen in this weird situation(didn't happen, just curious.
R3 is taking his lead in foul territory, the ball is in then hit so it hits 3rd but bounces back and hits R3 who is still in foul territory. What would be the call? |

Quote:
7.08 (old numbering) A runner is out when (f) He is touched by a fair ball in fair territory before the ball has touched or passed an infielder. Fair ball - yes. In fair territory - no. Thus NOT out.
