You'd Figure They'd Learn!
That's at least twice now:
First it was DiMuro who calls an out on a ball that was "caught" in the stands. Now Gibson calls the stealing runner out on a tag at home plate, only to then realize that the ball is clear back at the backstop. Shouldn't these ML umpires be asking the SEE the ball? I thought that was Umpiring 1.0? The calls this year are getting embarrassing!
