Yes, Jeff has another thread with the news. Maybe Bob can combine the two.

Harry was one of those umpires who truly loved the game.

Combining the two threads seems right. Whoever can do this should.

FWIW, Bob is still listed as Moderator at the bottom of the baseball page. If he has hung 'em up, his efforts here were above and beyond. He set the bar high for the next mod.

I went to Harry's in 1985, and I loved the guy. It was a good day until I read this.
