IFF BU Signal Question

In this case, it's up to the BU. So if the BU rules that it's not an IFF, then the PU would have nothing to echo. No signal needed.

I tend to agree.

However, if the BU forgets that it's IFF and it's obvious to PU that it's going to be caught with ordinary effort, I see no problem with PU calling it.
