This is why we don't throw things...

This is the reason you hand the ball to F2 and have him throw it to F1. Thankfully it only got him in the side, and not the head.

It was the catcher who hit him, not the umpire. The umpire made the better throw. Maybe the catcher should hand the ball to the umpire.

I've seen catchers miss the pitcher with throws far more often than umpires who throw to the pitcher. It depends on who is doing the throwing. It's a personal decision whether or not to hand the ball to the catcher. I switched to handing the ball off due to my new chest protector's arm guards that make throwing awkward.

I hand the ball off due to my arm, which makes throwing awkward and embarrassing.

Why are we discussing this for the 4th time this season? If you want to throw the ball back do so. If you do not want to throw it back, hand it to the catcher.

ML umps blowing calls has been a good topic lately, although none of us are immune to this problem.
