Once again, I detail an event, and you turn it into some kind of judgment of something or someone. Follow closely now:
It is an account of an incident that is indicative of how such an offender is sometimes handled. I have stated no opinion about whether it's smart, stupid, right, wrong, good or bad.
Do you live in the real world? Do you understand crime and punishment, and more importantly, big-city crime and punishment?
Why would you risk seeming this naive to a public forum by asking this kind of question?
I don't know whether to laugh out loud or roll my eyes.
