I hope I can get video of this.

Leadoff man belts one down the left field line. Eric Byrnes fields it and tries to throw it and it slips and goes out of play. I have never seen anything like this. The BR had not yet reached 2nd, so they gave him 3rd.

Weird, weird play.

No argument from the Washington Mgr. The Fla Mgr came out briefly trying to get the guy awarded a run, I think...

Well, it's not going to be TOP since the batted ball didn't go out of play. That doesn't leave too many other choices.
