Not one of my games, but I would love to hear it from Ump who has there. How do you argue with a broken jaw?
I did have some fun last week. After a kid struck out looking for the second time, he started to let me know his thoughts. Before I could deal with it, coach tells him to "take a seat on the bench....for a long time,... until you can learn to keep your mouth shut" I had to keep my mask on to hide my smile. Thanks Coach. JM Yahoo news search "Baseball umpire", a lot of junk but sometimes you find an interesting one.
