100 ft? You must have some huge shoes.

550 cord, we used it in the military, love that stuff... but im not using it on my shoes, and those will not break.

I was going to start a new thread, but this kind of fits here.

What do you guys use to black out the "N" on the NB 450's and 350's? I did a search but didn't find much.

Thanks.

I'm thinking a Sharpie might work. I haven't worried too much about it...I know some groups are pretty strict about the "all black" fortunately our group doesn't care that much so I don't worry about it.

I know Sharpie works on leather and rubber, but that stuff that the "N" is made of isn't really either of those. I don't have to black it out either because no one that assigns games here cares, but I thought about doing it anyway.

I guess most of the posters on this thread don't have games to work yet. Otherwise, three pages on shoelaces and sharpies? WTF? YGTBSM!

Man, you guys need to work some games, soon.

At least no arguments or accusations yet. That usually flares up pretty often this time of year.

Good luck in the upcoming season. Hope it gets here for you soon.

What about the ends? How do you keep them from fraying?

MajorDave,
Seems the folks are interested in starting/continuing the season with good, well recommended shoe laces.
That is a good idea.

Melt them with a lighter and flatten them a bit by pressing the softened nylon against cold metal. A word of caution: If the lace catches fire, the drips of melted nylon are hotter than the flame that melted it. Be careful.

You know there hasn't been a good ball bag thread in a while now.
