I've been married for almost 20 years now, and I do as many games as humanly possible, because I don't want to get divorced. It's funny how that works.

Hah! My wife is pretty understanding about me working Thursday, Friday nights and all day Saturday as long as I take the occasional weekend off for "us time". The extra money sure doesn't hurt either.

I didn't realize you were working football too, I'll have to pick your brain when I move (if you don't mind that is).

ive taken a few shots off my HSM, so I have little brain left, but whatever I have I am more than willing to share.

I do football, basketball, and volleyball. Out of all the sports I do basketball seems to be the one i do for money.

I like all the other three a lot, baseball is first love since i played it in high school and college.

My game for Sunday just got canceled, so I am officially done with my first year. I counted 90 baseball games, the majority were U14 and under, with a high school JV game and some fall Perfect Game baseball. Plus 18 football game this fall.

I have to laugh at myself, Our assignor (who runs almost all his games through the arbiter, over 4000 this year, baseball only) was at our second association meeting this spring, and explained to us how it works. He gave an example of an umpire who already had about 20 games scheduled after registering to use the arbiter, and I thought that was a large amount of games at the time. Little did I know I'd do almost 5 times as many. That's OK though, got alot of good experiences (and a few bad) this year, and am already looking forward to next spring.

Tim, don't forget the newest PC wave out there. We are no longer parolees, but reeducated citizens who are responsible for steering and teaching the young adolescents in a sporting event! After all we have learned the valuable lessons in life and can now make sure the next Pac-Man has proper tuteledge (sp?)
