So let me get this straight...all 4 umpires decide they don't need a replay...so no replay?
I would bet that if 3 of the 4 said no replay needed...then no replay, right? I know if I'm on a crew and one said " I'm not sure" but the other 3 said "we are sure"..that better be the end of it. There must be a standard in place. Anyone know for sure how it works?  griff

As stated earlier, the crew chief decides if it is necessary to use the replay system. I would think the crew chief would take into account the opinions of his partners. Perhaps more than one had a clear view of the play, so no replay was necessary in McClelland's opinion.
