Maybe. I meant only to imply that the crew might have gotten help on whether to go to the MLB war room replay for help, which would be an interesting, perhaps unanticipated, twist on the implementation of the rule.
BTW, after the inning, the umps again conferred, this time between the mound and second base, and little Timmy Lincecum had to shoo the whole crew out of the way to let Molino have his throw down to second. Fun at the ballpark.
