Game of firsts

Working College World Series Classic tournament in Omaha NE where varsity teams come from all over the US.

All in one game.

First skunk in the outfield play. First two times attempted ball was not put back in play following foul ball. Third time "successful."

First balk with throw being made to F3 on a back pick without having a play on R1.

First balk with pitcher using "set" stance and using the wind up motion.

All by the same team no less.

What a great game baseball is.

Why do these College players try and pull such bush league stuff? Haven't they heard of such thing as playing a ballgame?

Well......when he said "Varsity" I took it to mean HS Varsity teams (not college players but wannabe's) and we all know (don't we?) that ANYTHING can happen in a HS game!
