My very limited fashion sense tells me that red doesn't look real good under the cream shirt.
But I could be wrong

Send a message via Yahoo to UmpJM
Black, Cream, & "Polo" Blue (with the black collar trim) ALL get a black undershirt.

I agree.

For a navy shirt, I wear red.

Cream shirt for the PU; It's hard for me to pick up the ball when I'm in B or C. Fielders too.

I've been known to wear a black *T* under the protector, a cream *T* over the protector and the cream ump shirt over all that stuff.

With a black shirt, 90% of the time in my neck of the woods we wear black undershirts, and 10% of the time we wear white undershirts. Same ratio under the black pullover black jacket.

With the light blue shirt (with the black trim) we always wear black undershirts.

Under the cream we wear.....wait a minute....we don't wear the cream color shirts in leagues I work.

I have worn navy, black, red, grey and white under the chest protector because nobody knows what I have on, they can't see it. The question on undershirt color is for bases, I think.

Red should never be allowed. Black or Navy! NEVER WHITE!

Black Undershirt: Polo, Black, Creme, Grey (sliver)

Navy Undershirt: Powder, Navy, White, Red

I like red. Have the shirt. Wear it. Especially when I can annoy a specific someone by wearing it.

Wow, thanks Mr. Blackwell! The Fashion Po-Po's are out in force, I see.

Red Undershirt w/ Navy has been a standard "oldie but a goodie" around here for a long time now.

I agree on NO WHITE undershirts, although they are allowed with Black shirts.

I like red. And it does look good. But to each his own.

(Understand, I am also a quilter so color is important to me. I really hate these sage green pants because they don't properly contrast the shirt colors. There's too much yellow in them. And that new greyish shirt? Looks dirty to me.)

Rita,

The sage & gray have been gone for a few years now, replaced by the dark gray pants and MLB Polo Blue ... Anyone still wearing these is waaaayyyyy out of fashion and should be .

Well I don't like that new color either. It may not be the sage of a few years ago but it still has that color. It's only darker.

And I don't like it.
