Please tell me if you will :
Man on third - hard hit ball to the warning track in right field. Right fielder is camped under the ball for an easy catch. Sun , wind ,whatever, the dude misses the easy catch. Runner scores from third. What happens to the batters batting average. I say - Error in the field - Sac fly to batter(no reprecusions to batting average) - and an RBI. Can you please tell me what your opinion is? --------------------------------------- Democarats bad , Republicans good |

quote: It depends on whether it hits the glove or not. If it does not it's a hit and count the bases he reaches safely, plus RBI. If it hits the glove and droped E7 no sac fly no RBI. |
