Please tell me if you will :

Man on third - hard hit ball to the warning track in right field. Right fielder is camped under the ball for an easy catch. Sun , wind ,whatever, the dude misses the easy catch. Runner scores from third.

What happens to the batters batting average. I say - Error in the field - Sac fly to batter(no reprecusions to batting average)
- and an RBI.

Can you please tell me what your opinion is?

I hardly ever venture into Rule 10, but I think you'll find your answer in 10.09(e) and 10.04

E-7, sacrifice fly, rbi, no at bat. If you make a political comment, at least spell DEMOCRAT correctly.

It depends on whether it hits the glove or not. If it does not it's a hit and count the bases he reaches safely, plus RBI. If it hits the glove and droped E7 no sac fly no RBI.

I can't agree with the E-7. I agree on the error, but the ball was hit to RIGHT field.

Sac fly and RBI for the batter, no effect on batting avg.
