Perhaps I should re-phrase the question.
Do you have to take the NFHS test for your state to call HS ball? I ask because I did three varsity HS games last year and I have two scheduled for next week. I have never heard of a requirement to take the test. Edited with: Just to clarify, the varsity games were smaller private schools. That may pay into this.
