Come on, give him a break.
CUmp it's quite a simple mechanic. You draw your arm inward, the exact reverse of the "goodnight coach, thanks for stopping by". Then you take off your uniform shirt and return the fee.

For anyone who thought that I was serious, check my signature. It was a setup, and some of you fell for it.

It might be funnier if you weren't such a sh!tty umpire.

It would be funny if it weren't so tragic.

You've used this same signature for weeks. So, does that mean you're acknowledging that none of your posts are serious?

If I say something that is so ridiculously stupid that there is no way I could be serious about it, then it's just comedy. I've joked twice on here; this thread, and the time that I said I used rule 9.10c four or five times a week. It's not that hard to tell when I'm kidding.

So, then, when you said your signature is an indication that you aren't serious, you weren't being serious?

Wow. You've posted some really strange things, like that you are a competent high school offical working university level baseball. It's difficult to know when you're serious.

How about this...when you post something serious add: "And I really, really mean it this time, honest." Then tie your shoe laces together, put a rose between your teeth and hop in a circle, three times.

I have said ridiculously stupid things on this forum many times, some of which were not funny at all. You manage to say stupid things quite often, even when you are being serious. How are we supposed to know when you're just kidding? Please follow your posts with "j/k" to let us tell the difference between when you say something stupid that you are serious about and when you are just trying to be clever.

Why should we have to look to your signature to see if you are joking. I find the folks at Dateline a bit intrusive to begin with, and they certainly are not even in a joking mood. It doesn't sound a thing like a joke or something funny.

Your post may have been intended to be funny, but it really missed the mark.

the only part of your comedy that made me laugh is the fact that you think these types of posts have any relation to comedy or that they could be considered jokes.

if we wanted unfunny 'jokes' posted on an umpire forum, id ask carlos mencia to post here.

I thought I was the only one who found Mencia to be very un-funny. Good to see I'm not alone.
