SA,
I asked for the experts opinions, not sure why you responded? just kidding  I can see your points. I would eject for that comment any time I heard it. I see the differences in "but you are friends with the coach" and "the only reason you made that call is because you are friends with the coach" and I hope you can see that also. I understand that coaches need to defend their players and the team. I feel he went too far with his argument.
