SA,
I asked for the experts opinions, not sure why you responded?
just kidding

I can see your points. I would eject for that comment any time I heard it. I see the differences in "but you are friends with the coach" and "the only reason you made that call is because you are friends with the coach" and I hope you can see that also.

I understand that coaches need to defend their players and the team. I feel he went too far with his argument.

I'm winding it once he says "Bull****" if it is more than just a mere emotional reaction as soon as the call is made.. Profane, thanks for taking part in the game today Skip.

Had an ejection tonight for the wiseass 16 year old who wanted to draw a line in the dirt on a pitch that had the corner. Then heard it for about 2 innings from his Poppy. It got to the point where I really had to do some "Serenity Now" just to keep myself focused.

But you know what they say, serenity now, insanity later.

Bullsh!t is just an adjective to me, unless it's preceded with the word "you're." You'd really toss an adult coach for saying "that's bullsh!t"?

If he came all the way out of his dugout, came up to me, and said "bull****", that is a calculated move on his part. More than any emotional initial reaction. Yes, I'd toss him, especially at lower level games.

If he came out and said "that's bull****" in a tone where nobody else could hear, and I deemed it out of simple frustration, then I may keep him in the game until he says that bit about friends with the coach.
