On the type of ejections you describe, I usually kick them out of the park, too. In fact, in some SP leagues around here, an ejection requires that the offender leave the premises. Did you let these guys hang around?

I learned later one player left the park area, while the two coaches and three players stayed behind an equipment shed behind the concessions stand well out of my sightlines.

The game was not going to be completed until I did not see them anymore.

Nice job. Sucks to do...but we have to keep control of the game. Way to have some guts!

I would have hated to have been in that situation, but you did everything right. You didn't eject anyone, you merely formalized it when they ejected themselves.
