The Officials Choice

http://www.theofficialschoice.com/

Has anyone bought from this site? They advertise on The Arbiter.

Specifically, I'm wondering about their "micro-soft" (something like that) shirts. Good price if they are anything like what we are used to.

It looks like all they have is shirts, or am I reading their site wrong?

I haven't personally worn one yet, but there was a good discussion about these shirts on another forum. The guys that said they have purchased them are all seemingly satisfied customers. They remarked mostly about the comfort and price of the shirts.

I bought several of their shirts for our association. I haven't worn one yet but many of of our members have remarked how comfortable and light the shirts are. Great turn around service on the order too.

Hey all,

This was my response on another forum:

The OC shirt is nice to wear on the field! It is a little thinner, i.e. cooler, to wear than the Honig's shirts that I already have. The longer shirt tail kept it tucked in very nicely and it did not slip out any during the game.

My verdict...Excellent for warm to hot weather games, cooler temps might require a thicker shirt if not cold enough for a jacket/coat. Shirt quality is Very nice!

the officials choice

Paul (owner) is terrific. I have both short and long-sleeved shirts from The Officials Choice, and they are truly excellent. The shirts are inexpensive (where else can you get top-quality long sleeves for $19.95?), great quality with attention to detail. I just got word his long sleeves are available in navy, black, cream and powder. People likely wonder what they are getting for this much money (compared to the other suppliers)... top quality!

I would have to say that these are very nice shirts. They seem lighter than the Honig's shirts that I own and like someone else said, where can you get a quality shirt for $19.95. If you happen to catch them at the right time you may get them for $14.95, which I was able to do earlier this year.

Good shirt for the money.

I don't do baseball, but I wear OC shirts exclusively in basketball and football. They run at least 3/4 of a size (maybe a full size) large. I'm an XXL guy all the way, but I wear XL in OC shirts -- both styles.

Garth: while CK makes a decent shirt it isn't any better than the OC. OC is by far the best shirt I've worn and I've bought officials shirts of one kind or another since 1988. They run sales routinely and I always stock up. I've got 7 hoops shirts!

I got a navy blue, light blue, and red from them last week. I wore the navy for a triple header on Saturday. I liked it. As others have said, they are a little lighter than other shirts (I have Honig's and Cliff Keen as well). I like the fit of their baseball shirts, but I prefer Cliff Keen for basketball. OC's basketball shirts are just a little too baggy in some areas for me. I like my basketball shirts to be a little more fitted.

I've bought 4 from them this year - 2 powder, 1 navy and 1 powder/black. I love them. Very light weight and soft. I too found them to be a bit large. I bought 3x and wish I had bought 2x. I'm going to buy some basketball shirts this year too.

Too heavy. I prefer Honig's shirts now that the collars and sleeve trim aren't 100% cotton.
