Stop Locking Threads

The moderators on here seriously need to stop locking threads. From the perspective of a Psychology student, when an argument gets heated it is usually best to let the people duke things out. If there is conflict it is best to let it out from under the surface, so that people can get things off their chest. Hydraulic theory of aggression states that after letting aggression out, one will be less angry and aggressive. The moderators here don't seem to understand that, but it seems to me like they don't understand a lot about anything.

Another thing that I wanted to mention is can you guys please stop quoting me when there is no reason to? Ozzy and Bigump both quoted me when it wasn't necessary. It gives me the feeling that they were just doing that to show me up. Not only that, but when you do that I have no way of deleting or editing my post, because the original post is still in the quote.

And as Loserman said, his ignore list doesn't work very well if you quote me.

Edit: One more thing, the trigger behind my upset at threats being locked is the thread "Got Sent Back to the Dugout" in which there was some discussion going on about how and when to make an appeal on a pulled foot at first base. But I couldn't ask my question, because that thread is now locked.

If you have a question it's probably a good idea to start a new thread instead of raging against the machine.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

In what part of Canada do you work games. I'll be spending some vacation time up there this summer and I would be willing to pay to see you work...in Candian currency, of course.

OK, I'm confused. What is in Canada that would make you leave the continental US to vacation there for? It must be really great, so why would you leave it to go watch canadaump6 work a game, and pay to see it (in any currency)?

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Victoria, Vancouver Island, BC. We return there frequently and occasionally visit Vancouver, BC and the surrounding areas. Additionally, when I visit my relatives in upstate New York, we often venture north to Toronto and stop in some good jazz clubs.

I would be willing to depart from my schedule for a day because after reading candaump6's posts I'm convinced watching him umpire would be extremely entertaining, possibly hilarious, and certainly worth the discounted currency.

if you dont want things that you said to be posted on the internet, then do not post them. if you are going to backpedal, then more people are going to quote you solely for that reason.
