Jeez you guys.

He bought a pair of shoes on eBay, and they didn't fit. Now he's selling them. He's giving us a heads-up, in case we need a pair. It's a fair deal if you need 11's. If you do a little homework, and not pop off so quick, you'll see he's just breaking even on the deal.

I hope the snow melts soon you for penguins out there.

Thanks for SOME people understanding. I dont know why people have to respond to be critical. I dont care if you have had a bad day or what your problems are, I havent said anything bad to any of you, so why am I being attacked because I want to sell some shoes. And Kyle, I will actually be losing some money, I bought these for $99 I believe, and Ebay and Paypal will most likley take $5 or $6 for the fees. I am going to sell these and then go to +POS, and spend the $140 or whatever it is to buy some 10 1/2'.s And dont act like you people would sell or return shoes dont fit.

Because if we allow this crap, then our site designed to help us improve as umpires becomes a swap meet. No one here likes solicitation.

Speak for yourself.

Hey, when someone had a link through Amazon for those $30 WV protectors, I hope you didn't blow that off too. I got a couple, and so did lots of folks here.

Don't buy from +POS on this one - bought mine from btlofficialsgear.com -spent $60 less than +POS and got them in a day. Don't know where you live, but even a couple of days extra probably won't matter. I got the spot bilt one's

Thanks, but no thanks. I would say 60-70% of the people in my association wear +POS. I love the look, and the feel of the shoes, and the $140 I have heard is a bargain since the shoes last so long.

Maybe it's because of your posting pattern and things that don't seem "quite right" about the ebay and other ads.

I just reviewed your previous posts. I see a whole bunch of crap about equipment, what to get, how do you like this or that.....no posts about rules or actually working a game. I found one that said you did 85 games last year and that you were just starting out. Then I found a post where you said you work pitching machine games. Further research shows that your longest game was 1:45 (a lot of us around here have had INNINGS longer than that).

I think you should work on getting some dust on your plate shoes, not selling them.

I think I will say whatever the HELL I want mrm.

I work any game that I can. And some times those include machine pitch games. I have said in recent posts, I am there for the money. $30-$45 for youth leagues is pretty damn good, so you can tell me how I am not a 'real' umpire, but when you say that I will just be counting the 6 or 7 thousand dollars I make in a summer.

How can I get dirt on shoes that I can't even walk in?

You can look at my previous posts all you want, I think you have no life and way to much time on your hands.

Please show me where exactly I said that you were not a real umpire. I was merely trying to send a message about the pecking order. I certainly commend you for trying to make money, and maybe you will have enough saved after this summer to finally buy that moped.

$45 for working machine pitch baseball doesn't make you an umpire; it makes you a thief.

I lived in New Orleans for a year and they insisted on 2-man for machine pitch -- one umpire to load the machine, the other to call plays at first and second.

These were freaking brutal games to "work."

The New Balance plate shoes are the best I've owned. My +POS shoes lasted forever, but wearing them was like having a brick formed around your foot.

I'll bet you wore a mask when you picked up your check.

At least he's honest about his avarice, its almost preferable to some of the 'its for the kidz' treacle we see so often.
