Partner makes an obstruction call on R1 rounding 2B to 3B. Unless it's Type-A where BU is killing the play right right there, we have no way of knowing exactly what the final call will be.
Ball get's loose & runner goes home. He knows there was obstruction and just jogs in and is tagged out. Now the crew needs to get together and decide to what extent R1 is going to be protected. Is it 3B or HP? Out or run? So we DO make the call, then sort things out in these cases. Last edited by socalblue1; Wed Dec 06, 2006 at 01:22am. |
