Neat, but what has that got to do with my question?

Okay, the answer is that Honig's doesn't normally put anything on sale, as their tremendous customer service is built into their price, and as etn_ump pointed out, +POS has the discount built into their bad customer service.

They discount everything during December, normally, and will allow you to buy gift cards at the discounted rates.

Since they do this every year, you really didn't know, did you?

I find that Honig's is very high priced, whether or not they have a Christmas sale. I've been buying from both Honig's and +POS for over 20 years now, so I know what's going on. Both companies have significantly lightened my wallet every year, and I have bought discounted items at Christmas time from each of them.

I was making a not-at-all funny joke at +POS's expense, since their customer service has gone to hell in a handbasket, and implying that any price Honig's charges is worth it because of their service.

I think it's usually around the second week of December through mid-January.

See the problem is, me being the dumbass I am, I always forget. So it never fails that EVERY year I order right before they have their sale. Maybe I need one of those strings around my finger or something.

Honigs has been, at least in the past, hesitant to tell if their stuff will be on sale in the future, thus the question. I KNOW the +POS stuff is 25% off now, but ordering stuff from there is like a trip to a Tijuana dentist. Dicey at best. (They haven't picked up their phone for me all day today).

I love some of +POS's stuff. Their pants, long sleeved shirts, those plate brushes with the scraper on the other end, jackets, etc. I also love Honigs service. I get stuff on my doorstep the next freaking day, in most cases. Might I suggest a hostile takeover?

I bought one of those plate brushes with the scraper on the other end. The first time I tried to use it to scrape some dried mud off the plate, the sucker broke in half.

Hunh. Mine's at least five years old, and still tickin'. My brush is almost worn down though.
