Good. Maybe somebody will throw something at his head while he's there. Here's to six years without parole.

6 months to 3 years for each of 2 counts. Good!

I voted in the poll that this article provided. It gives 3 choices: Too light a sentence, too heavy a sentence, and just about right. I chose "just about right," which now has 39%. I was surprised that the "sentence was too heavy" choice is winning with 40% of the vote.

Corruption of minors? Didn't that used to be a capital offense?

Delibrerating throwing at anyone is reprehensible but for a coach to tell a child to do that is inexcusable and should be severely punished. I'm not sure how a jail sentence is going to fix the situation but I'm glad that the justice system is treating this seriously.

Did you even comprehend the story? If someone pays a child to hit another child with a baseball intentionally, it's a crime !. The severity of what
occurred is magnified by the fact that the victim is " autistic and mildly
retarded". Moron........

I just posted a complete, coherent, polite response to this, and then deleted it as not appropriate.

Are you KIDDING ME? You are mad (based on your smiley) that this guy was sent to jail for forcing a child to throw a ball at an autistic teammate so he would not be forced to play that teammate in a game? Good God.

With all apologies in advance to whatever moderators might find this offensive, I cannot respond to this with anything less than: "You're a freaking idiot". And that is 5 levels tamer than what I'm thinking.

I am afraid that this post breaks the long-standing tie as dumbest post ever on the internet.

I think "asinine" is more appropriate: Definition 2: relating to or resembling an a$$.

Awwww.....ease up on the little fella. I think he meant (the smiley that is) that he was unhappy with the fact that now people may think they can sue over the child getting hit. Not that he was unhappy with the decision to put the %&^@#**&%&$%@ in jail.

I think that he should be forced to take batting practice every day, with someone who throws like Rick Vaughn fresh out of the California Penal League.
