A Smile From the Baseball Gods...

I worked the plate today for a Babe Ruth League 16-18 district tournament game... first pitch at 5 pm. When we got to our cars after the 1-0, 7 inning contest, the clock read 5:58. This was by far the fastest 7 inning game I've ever called! My previous record was 1:22 or so.

I guess this means I have a 3:30 game on the horizon
