A nod to the basketball gods......thanks for a new day

So, last Saturday I had the secondary defender train wreck we discussed in another post. Wednesday I had the worst 30 point blow out girls game ever. Losing team, coach, fans, score keepers, foul charters ALL lost their minds. Losing team commited about 40 fouls which of course, we as a crew were wrong on 36 of them. Technical fouls. Fan ejections...the whole spectrum of dental work that you could ever ask for.

So I am reeling from two tough situations. A game changing call sitch and then a game that makes you want to quit.

Thank the good Lord that last night I got to work one of the best played, easiest to call games I have had ever. Both teams played.....get this....BASKETBALL! 10 first half fouls, 19 second half - Total. Great play. Either team could have won. No one complained.

Man, this is fun when the ball goes in the hole.
