It depended on the age group and whether it was swinging or cal;led.

In youth groups, I just used the raised fist, and quietly verbalized, "Three". I didn't believe in embarrassing the kids. For HS, college and adult, swinging was the same. Called got 'Ripping the phone book", and "THREE". I never said, "You're out".

Punch somewhat towards pitcher, similar to called strike but emphasize "Strike Three" a little louder than normal.

That is what I thought. I cannot figure out the difference between these three:

Punch Out (fist towards the pitcher, and then exchange arms)
Pulling A Bow Back (bow and arrow or “ripping”)
"Start-the-lawn-mower"

I can't differentiate btw the Bow and the lawn mower.

Now that we have determined that 1/2 of the choices in the poll all refer to the same movement, could someone explain what the "fist" mechanic is?

The Bow is shooting an arrow into the sky, like some kind of Greek God.

The Lawn mower is bent over, with a bad back.

The Choices Are Somewhat the Same...

Hey guys,

The choices are somewhat redundant (yes I know)... That is why you can vote for more than one.

Here are the subtitle differences...
Punch Out (fist towards the pitcher, and then exchange arms - somewhat like a boxing punch. Right then a left jab)
Pulling A Bow Back (bow and arrow or “ripping” - straight back towards your body)
"Start-the-lawn-mower" (starting from below your belt buckle and "starting it" by pulling it up towards your face)

And the Hammer/Fist is the standard "out" mechanic... If that gives any help.

We all know you wont sell those calls in a 8 & u season game - im talking about your ultimate HS/men’s/Legion game or above.
