wow you guys are tough. I just made this pic in responce to the very long and winded strike zone post. Its a rear view of a left handed batter with no bat.

Ok,ok,ok . . .

So it is a left handed hitter and the illustration shows that this strike zone does not include a pitch that is "under the letters" -- it appears that your illustation is too soft on the top end. I thought we were supposed to call the "high strike."

Am I reading this correctly?

Plus, I thought it says the bottom of the strike zone is "at the hollow beneath the kneecap - not above the kneecap. Maybe it's just a parallax thing. While it does not have the appealing "3D" look of your illustration, PFISTO, I kind of like THIS picture for the purpose of accuracy.

Also, the Strike Zone is NOT a 3D Trapezoid (square with a pointed side) as you show. It is a 3D Rectangle (fill in the ears around the point).

Keep the zone as big as you can !
