I am Kreskin, or if you prefer Carnac The Magnificent, because I knew you were going to say that when I wrote the post. Very predictable.

If you look over Oregon State's roster, almost everybody is from Oregon or Washington, and most of their key players are from Oregon!

It is cool to see all these Northwest kids come together and have success! Oregon and Washington haven't been considered baseball hotbeds!

So, who would want to be Mr. Steed (UNC F4) today?

As much as I was rooting for Oregon State, I really felt bad for the kid. I was hoping he would tie it up with a homer (but that OSU would come back and win) in his lead-off at bat, but alas he struck out. That error is going to stay with him for the rest of his life, and that is a shame. I sure hope his teammates, coaches, friends and family do their best to get him through it. He needs to be reminded that mistakes are going to happen, and that he will make more errors along the way.

Steve, I hope you are not a grief counselor in your other life

"Cheer up, kid, you'll screw up a LOT worse than this later!"
