Cool

I was watching my son do a girls freshman game tonight (or, as they're called around here, a "slap-a-rama") but I got home in time to catch the end of the Oregon at Arizona game. Right near the end of the game, an Arizona player was trying to tie up an Oregon player who had the ball. The official called the jump. The color commentator on the Duck's TV network went bananas, screaming for a foul. The replay clearly showed it was a clean tie-up (of course).

Here's the best part. As he watched the replay, the announcer said, "If that's not a foul, I don't know what is."

A correct statement if ever there was one.

This is a statement that most announcers could make! Sounds like Billy Packer went to work for Oregon's play-by-play

No! Unfortunately, his dumb@ss is still here in NC, doing ACC games during the week and CBS games on the weekend!

Mark,

You forgot to mention the fact that the Ducks whooped on Arizona in that game and the last time they played as well. Did I mention that the Ducks football team whooped on Colorado in the Fiesta bowl too? Go Ducks!

Yeah, thanks to the BCS sending the wrong team to the Rose Bowl. I guess Oregon didn't meet the BCS criteria of having to be east of the Rockies. Wooohoooo! Number 2!
