Runners advance or return?
Fed rules....bases loaded, one out.
Runner on 3rd getting huge lead, and starts for home on the pitch. Batter obviously misses squeeze sign and swings, hitting a ground ball towards second. Runner from 3rd crosses the plate before the batted ball hits the runner going from 1st to 2nd. Dead ball is called.....but since the runner had already scored prior to the runner being hit, does he still have to return to third? |
