I'm confused (my wife will agree with that) on the bat weight rule. The rule states "A bat shall not weigh, numerically, more than three ounces less than the length of the bat (e.g.; a 33-inch-long bat cannot be less than 30 ounces)

Isn't the example contradictory to the rule? Shouldn't it say "cannot be MORE than 30 ounces" or am I reading something into this?
