Guys/Gals: On 17 August (on the paid site), Peter Osbonre's article, "The 'Business' of Youth Baseball," will look at a different aspect of this phenomenon. The "Times" columnist examined the philosophy; Peter just looks at dollars and cents.

Some might be amused. Some might be angry. We predict a typical reaction to a curmudgeon article.
