Cool

TriggerMN,

I believe Rich is correct on this point. Reference:

"9.01

...(d) Each umpire has authority to disqualify any player, coach, manager or substitute for objecting to decisions or for unsportsmanlike conduct or language, and to eject such disqualified person from the playing field. If an umpire disqualifies a player while a play is in progress, the disqualification shall not take effect until no further action is possible in that play.
"

Also, see 5.10(h).

Now, if I'm the offensive manager, and it's my player who had just acted like this, and the umpire calls "time" to eject him and have another player fulfill his award of 1B, the only thing the umpire is going to hear from me is an embarrassed apology for my player's unacceptable behavior and a "thank you" for tossing him.

JMO.
