6th inning, 0-0, Team B batting, runner at 1st. Pitcher for A comes set and does a jump move to throw to first, but doesn't throw. I balk it. Coach A goes balistic. He comes out saying that his pitcher's foot was behind the rubber and that he was not required to throw. Since it was a jump move with his body twisting as he was in the air, it did not matter where his feet landed. Coach A lost it. Told me that "people are not here to watch you ump, there here to watch the kids play baseball".

I don't know what side of the state you're in, but where I'm at around St. Louis, every coach that I know knows thats a balk and would probably (I know I would be) be ticked that his pitcher would do something so stupid.

"That's right, we are here to play baseball, and that my friend is a balk in baseball."

you know the more I think about it, I don't think he saw the initial twist. I think he looked up when I called balk and show the pitcher's pivot behind the rubber. He was already mad, so he lost it.

I agree with you, most coaches anywhere, even here is southern MO, know this is a balk.

Oh well, I will get over it!!
