NCAA Rules.

I read an article online about two weeks ago which said that starting next year that white bars will not be allowed I college games.

Did I read the article correctly?

I dunno what there is to elaborate. White-barreled bats are illegal in NCAA starting next season.

You can get the NCAA rules online and the rule is listed there.

Rule 1.12.b (7) Beginning in the 2020 NCAA Championship segment, the bat barrel color must be of a predominantly contrasting color to the color of the baseball between the 18-inch mark to the end cap.
