Massachusetts H.S. Baseball Umpires.
I know that Massachusetts is the only State that does use NFHS Baseball Rules and uses OBR/MLB instead. That said, are Catcher's allowed to use the two-piece mask and skull cap instead of the one-piece HSM required by NFHS?

No. The MIAA handbook states that "a full-crown helmet shall be worn by the catcher while behind the plate". Apparently, the HSM is the only style of helmet that fits this criterion.
