Double FT violation
A1 is shooting second of 2 FTs. B1 lowest block on the lane steps across the line before the ball hits the rim. Had a varsity official tonight stating that you only penalize the first violation ruling that the first (B1) caused the second (A1). He doesn't think you should ever go to the possession arrow because B1 would get the advantage by stepping over in subsequent throws causing A to violate so A should just reshoot every time. Obviously this is not the rule. How do most people handle this situatuion?
