Player is in a LGP, with arms straigh up above her head. As the shooter drives towards the basket, those two arms come down, almost at a 90 degree angle, straight on the top of the shooter. The whistle goes off... The following is the exchange between myself and the female coach.
Coach: What was THAT? Me: That was a foul, coach. Coach: FAUL??? Her arms were straight up!!! Me: Yes coach, but then those arms came straight down on the head of the shooter. Coach: Yes, but that's a reflex, she can't help it! Me: SHUT UP! B**ch, Bit**, B*t*h!!! Sorry, I have Turrets, coach. OK, I didn't say that last bit, but I thought it would be funny... I just never had a coach who claimed uncontrolable reflexes for fouling, and I thought she would appreciate a referee claiming Turrets.
