Player or Bench personnel?

A1 has committed their 5th personal foul. The scorer informs the official and the player is replaced. As the player, A1, walks past the official, A Technical Foul is assessed. The Coach IS informed. The Coach IS NOT informed of the player's 5th foul.
Is this a player Technical? A Bench (Team) Technical? What happens to the Coach of Team A.

So in my post, since a substitute was beckoned into the game to replace A1, now A1 is Bench Personnel. A1 is slapped with a 'T'. The Coach now has a INDIRECT TECHNICAL. Coach has to sit.

The coach would have received the indirect technical foul even if it was only the player's fourth foul. Bench personnel is bench personnel.

The odd part about this rule is during the time interval (15 seconds) between informing the head coach and when the player is actually replaced, said player is bench personnel even before the substitute reports and is beckoned. In this case the disqualified player is bench personal before he is actually bench personnel (replaced and sitting on the bench).

Note: I called my first unsporting technical foul on a player this week, first one in a few years. He didn't like the "and one" call I made against him.

After I reported the foul to the table I was on my way back to my free throw trail spot and passed him and he called me a "Dick Referee" to my face!
