Assault on umpires

Someone sent me this article, a bad situation:

Besides what did or didn't occur at the time of the play, where was whoever was in charge, coaches at least? Yes, we have all umpired on isolated fields, usually regular season; but always some adults present.

I was glad to see the culprit arrested, which should be for every assault, on and off the field; spectator, coach, or player. Sports can not be treated as somewhere crimes can be ignored.

Always, always, always calm the situation before continuing.
