I apologize if I missed a thread on this already...

Please note that the two officals were brothers, 18 & 14 year old. No one should have to put up with this, much less two teenagers. After seeing what happening in the PA trial, I'm sure the charges will get dismissed.

Threaten to kill an 18 year old and choke him in a snowy parking lot in front of your family after a 5th grade basketball game.

Somehow I suspect he won't be missed if he gets to do time in prison.

I wonder what happens when that 5th grader doesn't clean his room.

Times are getting bad. We had a fight in a HS game within the last 2 weeks where a 60 year old ref (trying to break it up) ended up getting popped in the nose and broke his hip when he fell.

It's bad enough when people attack an official, but come-on at least pick on someone your size or age.

Also, once her season is done, my Daughter wants to start reffin, I plan to bring her along and have her work with me only. At least for quite a while.

How sad! How utterly sad! Over a game, it never ceases to amaze me.

Hopefully the young man's outlook has not been completely warped by the out of control madness sadly demonstrated by that parent who made such poor choices.

Unhappy

Hopefully that assistant coach has participated in his LAST game as a coach.

Heard about this on the radio this morning. Unreal!!!! I'm pretty much speechless other than this guy should go to jail, although he was "probably a decent guy in the past" therefore won't.
