Tabletop
One idea that worked especially well this year: doing "tabletop" sessions. This was auxiliary to on-court lessons, watching video, rules/mechanics meetings. Large piece of cardboard with court diagram magic-markered on it with moveable R and U tokens to demonstrate positioning for throw-ins, free throws, press coverage, timeouts, PCA's etc. Those kinda things sometimes take more time than available if only done on-court, so we packed a lot of learnin' into a short amount of time with the "tabletop."
If you try it, I'd be interested to know your comments on it.
