double dribble?
In attempt to steal the ball, a player taps a pass intended for an opposing player, the ball bounces on the court, and then he taps the ball again which bounces and then he picks it up. If he dribbles would this be double-dribble? Is there a rule-of-thumb to calling the violation in this situation? One tap, ok? two taps is a dribble? Thanks.
