My response: "OK. Can I ask what other rules you aren't going to follow tonight? 3pt line? 5 players for each team? Traveling?"........

then I would wait for his lame excuse...and go work the game like I normally do.

when a coach complains to me that my call wasn't consistent with the previous call, i would just him "that was clearly a charge. feel free to talk to my partner about his calls. he'll be happy to give you his explanation".
