Yes, it makes sense, and no, I wasn't trying to bundle all scoring plays into one. Like I posted earlier, I misunderstood your statement

Sorry for causing all the confusion, but I was pretty sure, as you have mentioned, that there were certain times in OT when a team could "take the score and have the penalty applied at the succeeding spot," namely, the try. You confirmed that and explained it very well, thank you.
