Liability Coverage?
I and a fellow registered official have a meeting in an hour with the organizer of a local over 40 rec league. He wants to have registered officials do their games this year.
Are my partner and I covered, liability-wise, reffing in a league like this?
I checked with my NASO liability coverage and they say we're covered as long as it is a "recognized league or association."
My question is, "recognized" by whom? What kinda of recognition is needed to make sure our tails are covered?
Anybody know?
